Line Cook
Iowa Athletic Club, a made-from-scratch restaurant and sports bar located next to the Xtream Arena in Coralville, is seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our growing team. If you have an eye for detail, thrive in a team environment, and are eager to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply!
Pay: $15/hour and up based on experience
Schedule: Part-time position. Availability Wednesday - Sunday Nights are required.
Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.

Expectations
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months or more of line cook experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
